Full-service environmental contractor that specializes in large-scale industrial construction, demolition, remediation, abatement, energy, emergency response, trucking, stormwater, and drone services.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing accounting team. This role is responsible for managing full-cycle accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting month-end close activities.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline-driven, and experienced in high-volume invoice processing environments.

• Vendor Setups, process and code high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently
• Perform 2-way and 3-way matching (purchase order, invoice, receiving documents)
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
• Maintain accurate AP records and documentation
• Assist with month-end close and AP aging reports
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls

• 5+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Pay to be determined based on experience.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Quick Books, etc.)
• Knowledge of GAAP principles
