Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounting professional to manage accounting, financial reporting, and grant management for our non‑profit portfolio.
Academic requirement:
Bachelor’s degree, Accounting major.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of accounting in not‑for‑profits, strong accounts receivable, state and federal grant experience, month‑end close, preparation of monthly financial statements, and grant reporting.
- Accounts receivable experience, including working knowledge of accounts receivable and general ledger.
- Not‑for‑profit experience.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting requirements related to federal, state, and other grants, cost accounting, government accounting and auditing.
- Knowledge of budget preparation and administration, financial record keeping and reporting.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of contract/grant administration and monitoring.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing, and accounting software, preferably Acumatica, Work Day, and US Government Payment Management Systems.
- English (United States).
