What We Need

We're looking for a degreed accountant with 1‑3 years of experience to help prepare our quarterly and annual SEC filings (10‑Q/10‑K). In this role, you'll support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and footnotes, and assist with accounting for share‑based compensation and corporate debt. This GAAP‑focused position works closely with both operational accounting teams and senior management, offering great exposure and growth for someone ready to take the next step in their career.

What

You’ll Do
  • Perform financial statement consolidations for company entities.
  • Generate financial statements, account analysis and reporting in accordance with GAAP, SEC regulations and iHeart

    Media policies.
  • Provide documentation from accounting records in support of company audits.
  • Research and resolve balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flow inconsistencies.
  • Review quarterly and annual draft SEC reporting (10‑Qs / 10‑Ks), trace financial results to supporting documentation, and provide feedback and support to the report preparers.
  • Partner with operational accounting groups to identify and correct accounting issues related to operations.
  • Prepare and record journal entries for stock‑based compensation and corporate debt instruments. Provide guidance to operational accountants regarding equity investments, non‑controlling interests, and other matters.
  • May coordinate or actively participate in schedule preparation, requests for management reports and other general accounting related data requests required for internal and external reporting.
  • Prepare various informational reports including governmental surveys and questionnaires.

  • Proficient in Excel and accounting software; ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Can identify problems and opportunities, gather relevant information and make effective decisions using sound judgment.
