Job Summary:

Computes, classifies, records, and verifies numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records payroll, and general ledger by performing the following duties.

• Understands and Manifests the Philosophy and Mission of DCSSA.
• Compiles and records documents, such as cash & payroll transactions.
• Maintains General Ledger and Accounts Receivable Ledger.
• Maintains bank accounts, including deposits and reconciliations.
• Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, totals accounts to ledgers and other databases.
• Reconciles and resolves GL report discrepancies.
• Codes data for input to financial data processing system according to company procedures.
• Processes time cards, prepares payroll and maintains payroll records using ADP.
• Assists with preparation of Annual Budget.
• Assists with internal and external Audits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Handles all accounts receivable related activities, such as reconciling deposits, entering payments, & adjusting AR balances needed.

• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a deadline-driven environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Minimum two years previous experience with Accounts Receivables & GL.
• Previous College courses in Accounting or Finance a must.
• Minimum of one year payroll experience.
• Professional, good customer service skills and ability to keep information confidential.
