Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant with hands-on experience supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close. Comfortable working through details, identifying discrepancies, and making sure numbers tie out correctly. Have worked closely with teams across finance to keep reporting accurate and deadlines on track. Familiar with GAAP and experienced in helping with audits and improving basic processes where needed.

• You’ll be involved in major construction projects (often $100M+)
• Work closely with project managers and leadership, not in a silo
• A mix of day-to-day accounting and bigger-picture financial oversight

• Prepare journal entries and keep the general ledger up to date
• Handle monthly account reconciliations and investigate any differences
• Support the month-end close process and help make sure everything gets done on time
• Assist with financial reports and explanations for variances
• Work with auditors by pulling schedules and supporting documents
• Help maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Pitch in on AP/AR tasks when needed
• Look for small ways to improve processes and reduce manual work
