Entry-Level Accountant

As an Entry-Level Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records for our subsidiary companies. Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Reconcile general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information effectively.
• Prepare special reports to provide insights into financial status and assist with various projects.
• Correct financial discrepancies by posting necessary adjusting journal entries.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including managing accounts receivable details and control accounts.
• Adjust entries for amortizations and prepaids, and analyze retainage and accounts payable ledgers.
• Prepare fixed asset depreciation and accruals consistently.
• Secure financial data through regular database backups and uphold confidentiality.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations by following established policies and procedures.
