Accounts Payable Specialist

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounts Payable Specialist located in the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing expense reports, verifying account transactions, preparing journal entries, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role involves daily collaboration with the accounting team to ensure efficient operations and compliance with financial standards.

• Proficiency in processing Expense Reports and related documentation
• Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to assess and resolve discrepancies effectively
• Knowledge of Finance and Accounting practices, including accounts payable procedures
• Experience in preparing and managing Journal Entries in an accounting system
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial tools
• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Prior experience in construction or subcontracting industries is an advantage
