Job DescriptionAncira Auto Group is seeking an Experienced Automotive Accounting/Cancellations Clerk to join our accounting team immediately. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the integrity of dealership operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and knowledgeable in accounting principles—particularly debits and credits.
This position is based on-site at one location and is not a remote role.
Pay: $18-20 Per Hour
Schedule:
Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

- Post incoming and outgoing dealer trades
- Stock in new vehicle inventory
- Process new business contracts for F&I aftermarket products (Vehicle Service Contracts, Insurance, Tire & Wheel coverage, etc)
- Maintain a clean accounting schedule and account for any aging and payment differences
- Handle cancellations for aftermarket F&I products based on customer or lienholder requests
- Calculate and process prorated refunds and finance chargebacks accurately
- Respond to customer inquiries and communicate with financial institutions regarding cancellation details
- Track outstanding cancellations and follow-up on reconciling items until completed
- Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes
- Assist other accounting staff with tasks assigned by manager
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting-related work experience or qualifying accounting education
- Strong understanding of debits and credits and general accounting principles
- This is NOT a Quick Books position
- Automotive dealership or related experience preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and strong math skills
- Proficiency in Excel and general computer applications
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to act professionally and tactfully
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work harmoniously with others
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional presence
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
