Description:
Traditional Accounting/Tax/Audit Firm (60mm+ Annual Collections). They offer a broad range of services including external auditing, accounting, income tax, consulting, internal auditing, and management advisory services.

Title:
CPA – Tax Manager
Compensation: $90,000 – 125,000 + base DOE
Position DescriptionOur Client is looking for an organized manager who can produce high-quality work while maintaining strong relationships with our current clients in the San Antonio market. The ability to manage multiple priorities, make decisions and take initiative while staying focused on results and the performance objectives of this job is a must. Staff development skills, ability to lead a team of professionals by example while also possessing solid time‑management skills are important as well.
Responsibilities- Complete and deliver high-quality income tax returns for individuals, partnerships/LLCs, S‑Corporations, C‑Corporations, trusts, estates, and non‑profit organizations.
- Conduct income tax research and analysis in accordance with applicable laws.
- Lead, supervise, and train professional staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Manage multiple priorities, make decisions, and take initiative to meet performance objectives.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships within the San Antonio market.
- CPA licensure required.
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Master’s in Taxation (preferred).
- 5+ years of public accounting experience in income tax preparation.
- Comprehensive understanding of income tax laws and regulations.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and time‑management skills.
- Willingness to work > 40 hours per week during tax season.
- Ability to supervise and train professional staff.
- Ability to work in the U.S.
