Adecco is hiring immediately for an Accounts Receivable Representative in San Antonio, TX. Weekly pay starting at $20 to $25/hr. depending on experience. This is an opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career.
Job SummaryThe A/R Representative is responsible for managing billing accuracy and accounts receivable collections for assigned customer accounts. This role ensures timely invoicing, proactive follow‑up on outstanding balances, and accurate documentation in support of company credit policies and financial objectives. The position is ideal for a candidate seeking to build foundational experience in accounts receivable, billing, and customer collections within a fast‑paced logistics environment.
Duties & Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and issue accurate customer invoices in accordance with company policy and contractual terms
- Validate billing data against supporting documentation (rate confirmations, PODs, BOLs, etc.)
- Resolve billing discrepancies by coordinating with Operations and Customer Service teams
- Monitor unbilled revenue and follow up to minimize invoicing delays
- Perform collections outreach via phone calls, emails, and account statements for assigned accounts
- Document all billing and collection activity within Salesforce/Revenova
- Identify delinquent accounts and escalate per company credit policies
- Assist with negotiating payment arrangements while protecting company interests
- Support cash application and accounts receivable reconciliations
- Assist with month‑end close activities related to accounts receivable
- Maintain proper documentation to support audits and compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned (required)
- Basic understanding of billing and accounts receivable processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to analyze account activity and resolve issues with guidance
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team (required)
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, customer service, or collections
- Transportation and/or logistics industry experience a plus
Hourly rate: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
Physical Requirements- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. as part of regular duties
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach as needed
- Ability to remain focused in a fast‑paced, occasionally noisy work environment
- Weekly pay starting at $25/hr.
