Billing & Payroll Specialist
Zinn Insurance is seeking a Billing & Payroll Specialist (Full‑Time, On‑Site, salary with performance bonus) located in San Antonio, TX. This role values structure, accuracy, and consistency and focuses on payroll processing, client billing, payroll deduction reporting, and carrier reconciliation. If you prefer defined processes, clear deadlines, and precision‑oriented work, this position offers stability and ownership.
Core Responsibilities- Process payrolls accurately and on time for clients
- Send payroll deduction spreadsheets to clients
- Maintain payroll tax compliance
- Support year‑end reporting
- Prepare and send accurate client invoices
- Reconcile carrier premium statements
- Resolve discrepancies in a timely and documented manner
- Complete monthly reconciliations for clients
- Prepare and audit payroll deduction spreadsheets
- Ensure benefit elections align with payroll deductions
- Deliver accurate deduction reports to clients on schedule
- Maintain audit‑ready financial records
- Support ACA documentation
- Document and maintain SOPs
- 2 years of payroll or billing experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience reconciling financial data
- Detail‑oriented and dependable
- Comfortable working independently within structured processes
- Payroll processed 100% on time
- Billing is accurate to the penny
- Clean reconciliation reports
- No missed deadlines
- Clear, organized documentation
$23.00 - $24.00 per hour
