We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to manage the full cycle of accounting activities for a dynamic organization. In this role, you will help maintain accurate financial records, support timely reporting, and contribute to smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities- Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Record financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Generate financial reports and summaries to support business decision-making.
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation for audits and internal reviews.
- Assist with payroll-related accounting tasks as needed.
- Monitor cash flow and support invoice processing and payment follow-up.
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding accounting matters.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve issues with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Prepare sales tax reports and manage sales tax payments for the company.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar financial support role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and full-cycle bookkeeping processes.
- Experience with general ledger reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close procedures.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and discretion.
- Experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses.
- Knowledge of payroll, sales tax, or other compliance-related accounting tasks.
- Certification, coursework, or formal training in accounting or bookkeeping.
