Overview
Property Staff Accountant | Direct Hire | Full-Time | In Office
Our client is growing and is seeking a Property Staff Accountant to join their collaborative accounting team!
Responsibilities- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Perform general ledger and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close
- Record journal entries and maintain accurate financial records
- Analyze operating expenses and research variances
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Partner with property managers and operations teams
- Assist with audits and special projects
- Work within Yardi to manage financial reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of recent real estate accounting experience
- Yardi experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
