Managing the accounting departments, the part-time Accounting Manager will provide mentorship to staff, oversee financial reporting, and ensure compliance with GAAP while working remotely nationwide.
Key responsibilities- Manage the accounting department and create development plans for staff members
- Coordinate annual audits and tax filings, ensuring timely completion of fiscal deadlines
- Establish and monitor internal controls, developing accounting policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required
- Seven or more years of experience in Accounting, with two to three years in a management role
- Experience with Net Suite ERP preferred
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and current accounting practices
- Strong analytical skills and advanced experience in Microsoft Excel
