Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant with hands-on experience supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close. Comfortable working through details, identifying discrepancies, and making sure numbers tie out correctly. Have worked closely with teams across finance to keep reporting accurate and deadlines on track. Familiar with GAAP and experienced in helping with audits and improving basic processes where needed.

• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve variances
• Support the month-end close process to ensure timely completion
• Assist with financial reporting and provide variance analysis
• Collaborate with auditors by preparing schedules and documentation
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards
• Contribute to accounts payable/receivable activities as needed
