Tax Accountant, Public Accounting, Senior Accountant
3 Years Public Accounting Experience Required
Some firms seem to think the only way to develop your career is by adding another 20 hours to your week.
This one doesn't.
If you're a Tax Senior who enjoys public accounting but wouldn't mind seeing your family between February and April, it's worth a look.
Busy season usually sits around 50 to 55 hours. Any extra time you do work comes back to you as additional PTO. Outside of that, you're trusted to get on with your job without someone checking where you are every five minutes.
The work stays interesting too. One day you could be helping a high net worth individual with tax planning, the next working with family offices, trusts, estates, closely held businesses or construction clients. It's varied enough that you won't end up doing the same return over and over again.
They're looking for someone with public accounting tax experience who's ready for the next step. CPA or EA would be great, but they're far more interested in someone who's curious, enjoys working with clients and wants to keep learning.
It's the kind of firm where people tend to stick around. Not because they have to. Because they're given good work, trusted to do it and treated like grown ups.
Most career moves don't begin with an application.
They start with a quick conversation to see what's out there.
