Key Responsibilities- Lead the monthly close and financial reporting process in accordance with US GAAP
, ensuring accurate and timely results. - Prepare and review month-end and annual financial reports and management narratives.
- Monitor budgets, project expenditures, and budget-to-actual results
, analyzing variances and recommending corrective actions. - Support the annual budgeting process and partner with budget owners to align financial plans with organizational goals.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, SOX compliance, accounting procedures, and financial processes
. - Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Supervise, coach, and support accounting staff while maintaining strong team performance.
- Participate in special projects and provide financial analysis and recommendations to leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
CPA or CPA exam eligible preferred
. - 5–10 years of accounting experience
; public accounting experience is a plus. - Experience in power generation, renewable energy, manufacturing, or similar industries preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Oracle
. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Previous supervisory or management experience.
