A growing San Antonio CPA firm seeks a detail-oriented Client Accounting Services Assistant to support daily bookkeeping, monthly closes, and client data management. This role ensures smooth workflow operations for the CAS team and delivers high-quality service to small business clients. This role will work in a team environment but will need to work on projects and assignment independently and trusted to meet strict deadlines and provide quality client care.
Responsibilities- Client Bookkeeping:
Processaccountspayableandreceivable,handlebankandcreditcardreconciliations,andmaintaingeneralledgers. - Workflow Support:
Organizeclientsourcedocuments,trackrecurringengagementdeadlines,andassistwithmonth-endandyear-endclosetasks. - Client Communication:
Actasahelpfulpointofcontactforroutineclientinquiriesregardingdocumentrequestsandfinancialportalnavigation. - Operations&Tech:
Maintainaccuraterecordsinpracticemanagementsoftwareandcloudaccountingplatforms(e.g.,Quick Books Online ,Xero).
- Experience:
1to3yearsofgeneralbookkeepingoraccountingsupportexperience,ideallywithinaCPAfirmorprofessionalservicesenvironment. - Education:
Associatedegreein Accounting,Finance,orequivalentworkhistory. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excelandcloud -basedaccountingsoftware;familiaritywithpaperlessofficesystems. - Soft Skills:
Strongorganizationalskills,clearwrittenandverbalcommunication,andalocalpresenceinthe
SanAntonioarea.
