Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:

Lead assigned month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.

Prepare financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger analyses.

Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, accruals, deferrals, and balance sheet accounts.

Support budgeting, variance analysis, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Identify accounting process improvements and collaborate with cross-functional finance teams.

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

3-5+ years of progressive full-cycle accounting experience.

Strong experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

Working knowledge of GAAP; nonprofit accounting experience and CPA progress are a plus.
