Accounting Manager

Rodell Search is partnering with a growing $100M technology services company in San Antonio to identify an Accounting Manager for a growing accounting and finance team. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in the company's day-to-day accounting operations, with a strong focus on month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
. This position will work closely with the broader accounting and finance team and will have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as the company continues to grow.

• Own and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries.
• Perform monthly balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Assist with revenue, expense, prepaid, fixed asset, and other accounting activities.
• Review transactions for accuracy and compliance with company accounting policies.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash-related accounting activities as needed.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Research accounting issues and help implement process improvements.
• Support the annual audit and provide requested schedules and documentation.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams throughout the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes

• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting/ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
