Administrative Assistant

Job Summary

IES Residential is hiring an Administrative Assistant in San Antonio, TX to support daily office operations. This role handles clerical and administrative tasks including data entry, scanning, document processing, scheduling, and communication support for our San Antonio and New Braunfels shops.

• Answer phones, greet visitors, and support employees/vendors
• Process and file invoices, work orders, timesheets, and employee paperwork
• Scan plans, work orders, and other documents for electronic records
• Enter data into payroll, work order, and reporting systems
• Schedule new jobs and support coordination for field operations
• Call in locates for T-poles as needed
• Maintain office supply inventory and assist with onboarding packets
• Handle mail, packages, and general office support duties

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ years of administrative/clerical experience preferred
• Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong organization, multitasking, and communication skills
• Computer literate and detail-oriented
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to perform repetitive typing, scanning, and filing tasks
