Student Music Office Assistant (Work Study) (Student)
Position Summary:
The Student Music Office Assistant aids with day‑to‑day operations of the Department of Music, assists with department events, and reports to the Music Secretary / Venue Manager.
- Scanning and making copies.
- Running errands for the department.
- Managing practice rooms and supervising use by other students.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively with faculty and staff.
- Accountable attendance.
- Demonstrates excellent performance in the classroom.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
- Adjures to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.
- Experience working in an office environment.
- Experience with scanning and copying using a Xerox printer.
- Knowledge of the Department of Music and the Luella Bennack Music Center.
Current UIW student approved and eligible to participate in the Federal Work‑Study program.
Required Work ExperienceNo prior work experience required; training provided.
Physical Demands- Prolonged sitting at an office desk.
- Ability to move about campus and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Salary: $12.50/hr
- Work Hours:
General availability during normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. - Job Type: Part time
