Job Title
Fencing Graduate Assistant
Academic YearPosition SummaryThe Fencing Graduate Assistant is responsible for duties including but not limited to assistance with travel plans, set up for games & practices, managing equipment, game and practice video, operations, social media, community service, and organizing team events. The Fencing Graduate Assistant reports to the Head Fencing Coach.
Essential Functions- Work with fencing student athletes throughout the year.
- Assisting in many roles relating to the development of the fencing program.
- Travel with the team during the fencing season.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Excellent oral, written communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to anticipate needs and provide solutions.
- Follow the mission of the university.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
- Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.
Required
Education:
UIW graduate student.
Required
Work Experience:
At least 6 months fencing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office and Photoshop desired.
Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations:
None.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical DemandsAbility to lift equipment, tools, and/or materials weighing up to 25 pounds waist high.
