Subcontracts Clerk
The Subcontracts Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to the subcontracts department, assisting with the processing, tracking, and organization of subcontracts for various energy services projects.
Assist in the preparation and review of subcontract agreements, amendments, and related documents.
Maintain accurate and organized physical and electronic files for all subcontract documentation.
Track subcontract status, including execution, insurance certificates, lien waivers, and payment applications.
Communicate with subcontractors to obtain necessary documentation and resolve minor issues.
Process subcontract invoices and ensure compliance with payment terms and project requirements.
Generate reports on subcontract status, spending, and other relevant metrics.
Support the subcontracts team with data entry, correspondence, and general administrative tasks.
Assist in the onboarding and offboarding of subcontractors, ensuring all required paperwork is completed.
Collaborate with project managers, accounting, and legal departments as needed.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
High School Diploma or equivalent;
Associate's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
1-2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a construction, engineering, or energy services environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with subcontracting processes and terminology is a plus.
