Addison Group is partnering with our client, a growing engineering firm, to hire a professional and personable Receptionist. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, staying organized, and supporting daily office operations in a collaborative environment.
Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a reliable Receptionist to manage front desk responsibilities and provide administrative support to the office. The ideal candidate is customer-service driven, highly organized, and able to balance multiple tasks while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere for visitors and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact by greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate department or team member.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls while handling general inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
- Coordinate meeting room schedules and assist with preparing conference spaces for internal and client meetings.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries while preparing outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area and shared office spaces.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, scanning, data entry, and preparing basic correspondence.
- Monitor office supply inventory and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Provide administrative support for various departments and assist with special projects as assigned.
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service position preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities efficiently.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative experience is a plus.
- Full-time, onsite position
- Monday through Friday schedule
