Position Title Office Assistant
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working student able to undertake various office support tasks, a team player, and someone who possesses attention to detail, works diligently, and maintains discretion with sensitive information. This position may require you to sit, stand or walk around for an extended period.
Duties and Responsibilities- Check Campus Operations email daily and maintain documentation in tracking spreadsheets.
- Scan project files and create digital database files for easy access and archiving.
- Move boxes into designated storage areas and organize storage archives.
- Perform quality assurance of scanned files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with quality assurance inspections in academic buildings.
- Provide support to the Project Manager with errands and project-related tasks across campus.
- Work with the EHS Office to update the Morehouse Chemical Inventory
- Assist Office Operations with data entry and ad hoc assignments.

General Qualifications- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Work, Powerpoint)
- Ability to operate office equipment (fax, copier, scanner)
- Team Player
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to effectively communicate in writing (emails) and verbally
- Database management
Must be eligible for Federal or Institutional Work Study.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks independently.
- Comfortable handling both administrative and light physical tasks (such as moving boxes).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with faculty, staff, and students.
