Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized General Clerk to provide administrative support in a professional office environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, managing multiple priorities, and supporting a variety of office operations. The position also includes occasional assistance with off‑site events and community outreach activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clerical and administrative support to various departments.
- Maintain and organize electronic and paper filing systems.
- Perform data entry, document management, and records maintenance with a high level of accuracy.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and other administrative documents.
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, appointments, and office schedules.
- Assist with planning and coordinating meetings, events, and outreach activities.
- Research and compile information using internal systems and online resources.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and catering as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal staff and external partners.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 years of administrative or clerical experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with databases or project management software is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Additional Information
- This position may occasionally require travel to local off‑site meetings or community events. Employees may drive their own vehicle to event locations or carpool with coworkers.
- Ability to lift up to 20–30 pounds on an occasional basis for event setup or office needs.
