Position Summary

The Pharmacy Student Affairs Assistant support the office functions within the Feik School of Pharmacy Office of Student Affairs.

This position is funded by the Federal Work-Study program and is open to UIW students who are approved and eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study Program.

Essential Functions

Essential functions include:

  • Greeting visitors to OSA, including prospective students and families, offering assistance where possible.
  • Assist with preparation for FSOP Admissions Interview Days.
  • Assist with preparation for group tours and visits or other events hosted by the Office of Student Affairs.
  • Serve as a backup tour guide.
  • Perform day to day clerical duties including organization of office materials, photocopying, restocking.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Appropriate attire according to Student Handbook.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
  • Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of UIW FSOP.
Required Education

Current UIW student with a 2.5 GPA (or higher), awarded Financial Aid Work-Study eligibility.

Required Work Experience

No experience required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Canva
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations

None.

Work Hours
  • Flexible hours available depending on the selected candidate's schedule with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
  • Hours available must fit within the range of Monday to Friday 8 a.m.

    - 5 p.m. with possibility for very occasional Saturday event hours.
Physical Demands

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
