In 2018, The company introduced a new line of business, Car Care Express, offering mobile vehicle reconditioning services for businesses and consumers. Services include: paintless dent repair; paint touch up; headlight restoration; and repairs to wheels, windshields, and interiors.

The Auto Body Paint & Repair Technician will be responsible for repairing and painting automotive cosmetic damage in both solvent and water‑based base‑coat/clear‑coat systems. They will also paint surfaces of wheels through spray‑painting equipment, power tools and work aids utilizing specific surface preparation and painting techniques. Our Paint/Wheel Technicians receive all the tools and supplies needed for the job. This person will also develop and maintain a weekly sales route in their territory to maximize profits, managing inventory, audits, and accurate logs of sales stops.

• Maintain business relationships to increase our clients’ profits
• Maintain excellent customer relationships to ensure longevity of accounts/business
• Drive our company van to dealerships and fleet operations in your metro area
• Walk and write up car lots for customer approval
• Inspect vehicle body surface and wheels to be painted for repair, prep and/or buffing defects
• Mix specific colors using standard formulas or color charts
• Perform paint repairs and refinishing to current company standards using spray‑painting equipment, power tools and work aids utilizing specific surface preparation and painting techniques
• Sand, mask, blend and polish finish. Apply or retouch paint as necessary
• Work with accounts/or sales managers on a regular basis to increase quality of service to account
• Service retail customers when necessary
• This role will report to assigned routes and establish accounts daily to service all repairs in a timely manner

• Minimum of 1-2 years of automotive paint experience with wheel repair experience being a bonus
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 21 years of age with a valid Driver’s license
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Sales and customer service experience
• Determination to succeed
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Some experience with route sales preferred
• Work in all elements of weather
• Excellent communication skills, self‑motivated, and demonstrated ability to work independently
• Regularly required to stand and walk. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, climb and perform repetitive motion tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (tools, dyes, paints, wheels, etc.)
• Safe place to park company van

Base salary plus generous commission plan

Year 1 Average - $55,000 / $65,000 +

As a technician you will have a base salary, plus a generous commission structure. In addition to your base salary and commission, you will have the opportunity to earn additional compensation through bonuses.
