This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Project Engagement Manager based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of project delivery, customer engagement, and cross‑functional coordination, supporting complex energy efficiency installations across a diverse portfolio of commercial clients. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clarity, alignment, and a consistently high‑quality experience from planning through installation. Working closely with Sales, Customer Success, and technical project teams, you will help translate operational progress into clear, structured communication for clients and stakeholders.

You will play a key role in ensuring project milestones are delivered on time while strengthening long‑term customer relationships. Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of customer‑facing projects while maintaining strong communication and alignment across all stakeholders:

  • Serve as the primary customer liaison for assigned field projects, ensuring clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate project timelines, milestones, and updates to customers to ensure transparency and a positive customer experience.
  • Partner closely with Customer Success Managers and Sales teams to align on account strategy, customer engagement, and project priorities.
  • Coordinate with internal project managers, operations teams, and third‑party contractors to support timely execution and issue resolution.
  • Lead or participate in customer meetings, including interactions with executives, directors, and site‑level stakeholders.
  • Produce and deliver customer‑facing reports summarizing project status, milestones, risks, and progress updates.
  • Maintain strong internal alignment across Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure seamless project delivery across multiple work streams.
  • Develop expertise in internal project workflows across energy solutions including HVAC, refrigeration, lighting, kitchen ventilation, and renewable systems.
Requirements

The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicative, and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders in a technical project environment:

  • 2-5 years of experience in project management, customer engagement, operations, or a related coordination role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, structure, and attention to detail.

    Experience working with CRM or project management systems to track progress and manage workflows.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong collaboration across distributed teams.
  • PMP certification or exposure to formal project management methodologies is a plus.
