Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Management Specialist 4 for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):- Accredited Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 5+ years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools.
- 5+ years of experience presenting to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership.
- 5+ years of experience working within a cross-functional interpersonal environment.
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this request.
Client is looking for an Associate or Mid-Level Project Management Specialist to support the VC-25B program in San Antonio, TX.
- Supports preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
- Participates in maintaining, analyzing, and producing metrics related to plans. Assists more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plan and refining the business case.
- Develops, collects, organizes and provides data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
- Coordinates document work statements and resulting schedules. Identifies and provide reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project team.
- Communicates plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholder.
- This position is expected to 100% onsite.
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.
Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):- 5 + years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 + years of experience in facilitating meetings and presenting to senior leaders.
- 5+ years of experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with a variety of project management tools.
- PMP or Project Management certification.
- Walk up and down scaffolding.
EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically, 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK HOURS:- Full-Time/First Shift
- 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- OT/weekend work:
