Principal responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Lead and support process improvement projects utilizing recognized improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, PDSA/PDCA, and Change Management frameworks.
* Conduct comprehensive data collection, statistical analysis, and root cause analysis to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
* Facilitate improvement workshops, team meetings, and stakeholder engagement sessions to drive collaborative problem-solving and solution development.
* Develop and deliver training and educational materials related to improvement of science methodologies and tools.
* Prepare and present briefing materials, metric charts, progress reviews, technical reports, and project documentation to leadership and government stakeholders.
* Work collaboratively with diverse, cross-functional teams including clinical, operational, and administrative staff.
* Utilize statistical software and data analysis tools to evaluate baseline performance, track improvements, and demonstrate sustainability of gains.
* Support the development and implementation of performance measurement frameworks and dashboards.
* Maintain proficiency in MS Teams, MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Access), Power BI, and Adobe Acrobat.
* Ensure improvement activities align with applicable government, organizational, and contract requirements.
* Contribute to knowledge management activities by documenting lessons learned, best practices, and improvement outcomes. Required Skills and
Competencies:
* Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Statistics, or a related scientific field from an accredited college or university.
* Minimum of 6 years of experience applying improvement methodologies and leading improvement projects, ideally in a relevant industry.
* Demonstrated strong understanding of improvement methodologies including Lean Six Sigma, PDSA/PDCA, and Change Management.
* Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis using statistical software, problem-solving, and root cause analysis techniques.
* Exceptional communication skills in English - both written and oral - with the ability to convey complex analytical findings to diverse audiences.
* Strong facilitation and training skills with demonstrated experience delivering improvement focused workshops and educational sessions.
* Applied project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor multiple concurrent improvement initiatives.
* Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams across clinical, operational, and administrative functions.
* Proficiency in MS Teams, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Access, Power BI, and Adobe Acrobat.
* Ability to produce high-quality briefing slides, metric charts, progress reviews, technical reports, and organizational charts.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment. Clearance Requirement:
* Secret security clearance Desired Skills and
Competencies:
* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
* Experience working in a federal government or military healthcare environment.
