Junior-Level Acquisitions Support Specialist
STS Systems Defense, LLC (SSD) is a Government Consulting and Contracting firm supporting missions throughout the world. We are seeking a Junior-Level Acquisitions Support Specialist to support the Air Force Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (AF JWICS) Program Management Office (PMO). This position is contingent upon contract award. Position location is yet to be determined and will be defined based on contract requirements and customer direction.
What You'll Do:
- Support post-award contract administration activities, including tracking contract actions, maintaining documentation, and assisting with contract execution tasks.
- Assist with monitoring contract performance and ensuring required administrative actions are completed in accordance with established procedures.
- Coordinate with government and internal team members to support day-to-day contract administration needs.
- Maintain organized contract files and records to support audits, reviews, and reporting requirements.
- Provide back-up support for pre-award activities as needed to ensure continuity of services and satisfactory performance.
- Assist with acquisition documentation preparation, data gathering, and administrative support for acquisition planning activities.
- Support communication and coordination efforts across acquisition team members to facilitate timely contract actions.
- Perform other acquisition and contract support duties as assigned in support of program objectives.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and relevant experience in business, contracting, acquisition, or program support.
- Basic understanding of the federal acquisition or contracting life cycle, gained through education, training, or entry-level experience.
- Ability to follow established processes and provide administrative and documentation support in a structured, compliance-driven environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to organize and maintain records.
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills with the ability to support multiple tasks and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to DoD or federal acquisition or contracting environments.
- Familiarity with contract administration or acquisition support activities, including document preparation or contract file maintenance.
- Interest in professional development within acquisition, contracting, or program support roles.
