The Operations Coordinator supports the Director of Operations by coordinating operational activities related to site readiness, logistics, vendor management, and continuous operational improvement. This role researches operational issues, coordinates cross-functional efforts, monitors task completion, and ensures key operational activities are executed accurately and on schedule.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate operational activities related to site readiness, permitting, vendor management, and logistics to support successful seasonal operations.
  • Coordinate with landowners, regulatory agencies, utility providers, contractors, and third-party vendors to support site readiness and operational improvements.
  • Maintain and update site plans, operational documentation, and location records to ensure accurate and current information.
  • Solicit vendor proposals, coordinate work activities, and monitor task completion to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Coordinate in-season maintenance, repairs, and operational support activities to ensure business continuity.
  • Prepare seasonal product delivery schedules and coordinate logistics plans to support timely and efficient deliveries to retail locations.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of operational processes, safety standards, and site readiness procedures.
  • Analyze operational and logistics performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support the implementation of operational initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned by the Director of Operations.
  • Assist with developing, maintaining, and improving operational procedures, forms, and documentation.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for operational meetings, training, and seasonal planning activities.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
  • Required:

    High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Preferred:
    Associate's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience

Required:
  • Two years of experience in operations, logistics, administration, project coordination, retail operations, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with internal teams, vendors, contractors, or external business partners.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail and follow-through.
Preferred:
  • Experience supporting multi-site retail or seasonal operations.
  • Experience coordinating permitting, vendor management, facilities, logistics, or site readiness activities.
  • Experience using ERP, project management, or work management systems such as Net Suite, , or similar platforms.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, follow-through, and continuous improvement.

  • Special:
    Extended hours during seasonal selling periods (June–July and December–January).
