Business Analyst (Junior to Senior) Align Dental Group | San Antonio, TX

Schedule:

Turn Details Into Better Operations

A Business Analyst at Align Dental Group helps turn day-to-day operational details into action. You'll look across schedules, workflows, and multiple locations to identify opportunities, address gaps, and help keep front-office operations on track.

We're hiring four Business Analysts, with opportunities ranging from Junior to Senior level based on experience. If you have a dental administrative background and are ready to apply that experience across a broader range of operations, this could be a great next step.

Where You'll Make an Impact

You'll work across schedules, systems, and locations to help keep important front-office workflows moving. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Keeping schedules moving:
Support scheduling, rescheduling, confirmations, and appointment coordination while identifying opportunities to fill openings and cancellations.
  • Staying connected with patients:
Communicate by phone, email, and text to support scheduling and ongoing follow-up.
  • Catching what may have been missed:
Complete administrative and scheduling audits to identify missed opportunities, incomplete tasks, and workflow gaps.
  • Following through:
Monitor outstanding patient-related tasks, ensure appropriate documentation is completed, and support recall, reactivation, and unscheduled treatment.
  • Supporting financial follow-up:
Send payment links and assist with payment follow-up and other assigned financial communication.
  • Keeping workflows on track:
Monitor schedules and workflows for accuracy, completion, and efficiency across multiple locations and systems.
  • Partnering with the team:
Work with on-site teams to complete centralized tasks without disrupting the patient experience and raise recurring trends or operational concerns to leadership.
Position Requirements
  • 2+ years of dental administrative experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience managing and optimizing provider or appointment schedules
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Strong written, verbal, and phone communication skills
  • Comfortable communicating with patients by phone, email, and text
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and basic spreadsheet functions
  • Comfortable learning new software, systems, and web-based tools
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Dental front-office knowledge, including scheduling, recall, treatment plans, and insurance basics, is strongly preferred.

Beyond the Desk

This role may include travel to company locations up to 20% of the time based on business and operational needs. On-site support may include reinforcing standardized workflows, supporting patient-facing processes, identifying training opportunities, and assisting with operational efficiencies.
