Construction Estimator – Heavy Civil

$120,000 per year + Benefits + Truck Stipend

A well-established and highly respected heavy civil construction company based in San Antonio, TX is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our growing team. This is a confidential opportunity with a strong, stable company specializing in complex infrastructure projects throughout the region.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a results-driven Estimator with 5–10 years of experience in heavy highway and civil construction
, specifically including:

• Bridge construction
• Grading and earthwork
• Site utilities
• Asphalt and concrete paving
• Stormwater and drainage systems

You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for public and private infrastructure projects, working closely with operations, project management, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Solicit and review bids from vendors and subcontractors.
• Develop detailed scopes of work and pricing breakdowns.
• Collaborate with project managers and executives to finalize bids and proposals.
• Stay up-to-date on industry pricing trends, local codes, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of experience as an Estimator in heavy civil construction
