Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to support construction operations across various East Coast project locations. This individual will oversee onsite safety programs, enforce compliance, conduct inspections, and partner closely with project teams to drive a high-performing safety culture. The ideal candidate has deep construction safety expertise, strong communication skills, and a proactive, boots‑on‑the‑ground leadership approach.

• Facilitate pre-construction planning meetings and safety reviews.
• Conduct frequent onsite inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Review Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA) and provide clear, actionable feedback.
• Maintain strong, effective communication with all personnel on the jobsite.
• Actively identify potential safety hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken immediately.
• Administer and uphold a progressive disciplinary program when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation and perform basic computer-based reporting and tracking.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field — or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of construction site safety management experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Recognized Safety Professional Certification (BCSP, CSP, CHST, ASP, GSP, or equivalent).
• CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification.
• Experience managing safety for large-scale projects ($10M+).
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
