A Site Labour Supervisor on a construction site leads and supervises a team of general construction Labourers, assists with various tasks as needed, and ensures work is completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities- Supervision and Leadership:
Direct and manage the work of a team of construction labourers, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and in alignment with safety standards. - Assisting with Tasks:
Perform manual labour tasks as needed, such as loading/unloading materials, site preparation, and assisting skilled tradespeople. - Safety Compliance:
Ensure all workers adhere to safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and safe work practices. - Material Management:
Assist with organization and distribution of materials on the site. - Site Preparation:
Clear debris, prepare surfaces, and ensure the site is safe and ready for work. - Equipment Operation:
Operate basic hand and power tools, and some heavy machinery under supervision. - Communication:
Communicate effectively with team members, foremen, and other site personnel. - Training and Mentorship:
May train or mentor less experienced labourers. - Problem Solving:
Identify and address issues that arise during daily operations.
- Proven experience as a Construction Team Leader or similar role.
- Fork Lifter Licence.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent record-keeping abilities and proficiency in inventory management software.
- Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment is highly desirable.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items when required.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and reliability.
- Minimum education:
High School Diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in logistics or inventory management is a plus. - Computer literate.
- Valid driving licence.
