Area Construction Manager

Beazer Homes is seeking an experienced Area Construction Manager to lead and oversee construction operations across multiple residential communities within a designated region. This role is critical to driving quality, schedule performance, safety, and team development while ensuring homes are delivered on time, on budget, and to Beazer’s high standards.

• Regional Construction Leadership
• Oversee construction operations across multiple communities and product lines.
• Ensure adherence to construction schedules, quality standards, and delivery commitments.
• Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and performance reviews.
• Team Management & Development
• Lead, coach, and develop Construction Managers, Superintendents, and field teams.
• Drive accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement across all job sites.
• Support staffing, training, and performance management initiatives.
• Quality, Safety & Compliance
• Enforce Beazer’s construction quality standards and building practices.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, local building codes, and company safety policies.
• Conduct safety audits and proactively address risk.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor trade partner performance, schedules, and quality expectations.
• Partner with Purchasing and Operations to maintain cost efficiency and reliability.
• Budget & Schedule Control
• Monitor construction budgets, cost controls, and cycle times.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce delays.
• Resolve construction challenges while minimizing impact to customers and schedules.
• Customer Experience
• Partner with Customer Care and Sales teams to support smooth closings and handoffs.
• Assist in resolving escalated construction or warranty concerns when needed.

• 7+ years of residential construction experience, including multi-site or regional oversight.
• Prior experience leading Construction Managers, Superintendents, or field teams.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, scheduling, and quality control.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and trade performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly between communities.

• Production homebuilding or large-scale residential construction experience.
• Experience managing multiple communities simultaneously.
