Central Southern Construction is hiring an experienced Paint Striping Foreman to lead field crews on a large-scale pavement preservation project supporting roadway improvements across the south end of Texas
. This is a traveling position with work in 8 different cities throughout the region.
If you have strong leadership skills, understand production goals, and can safely manage crews operating striping removal equipment in active work zones, we want to hear from you.

Travel Required (South Texas)
- Supervise daily operations for paint/traffic stripe removal on heavy civil roadway projects
- Lead and manage crew performance, safety, and productivity
- Coordinate equipment and materials needed for daily production
- Operate and oversee use of paint stripping equipment such as:
- Water blasting/hydroblasting units
- Grinding equipment
- Shot blasting systems (if applicable)
- Vacuum recovery systems
- Ensure compliance with work zone safety
, traffic control, and DOT requirements - Maintain accurate daily reports including production quantities, crew hours, and equipment usage
- Communicate with project superintendent and management on schedule, manpower, and jobsite needs
- Perform job hazard analysis and enforce company safety policies
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance/repairs
- 3+ years of experience in pavement preservation
, roadway maintenance, or heavy civil construction - Prior experience as a Foreman or Lead with ability to supervise crews
- Experience with paint/striping removal methods (water blasting, grinding, shot blasting, etc.)
- Ability to read and follow plans, specifications, and production requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage a crew in fast-paced environments
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to travel and work nights/weekends as required by project schedule
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
- Experience working on TXDOT projects
- CDL (Class A or
B) - OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Knowledge of MOT/traffic control standards and work zone operations
This position involves working outdoors in roadway environments, including heat, dust, noise, and active traffic zones. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks typical of heavy civil work.
