Operate the asphalt paver and make normal adjustments for obtaining proper depth, grade and finish cross section of asphalt material via screed extensions;
Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment and movement of materials;
Assist construction / paving crew with various duties such as providing asphalt layout (with ground paint, string lines) utilizing straight edges for smooth asphalt joints, utilizing levels to check existing and paved cross slopes, shoveling and raking;
Must partner with other crew members to apply asphalt per plan specifications and perform other tasks of other positions as instructed by crew foreman to ensure daily schedules/estimated are met;
Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and the environment
