Must be able to work with government and non-government personnel in a professional and clear manner. Be able to work with different trades and construction focuses to ensure a safe environment without limiting the trades ability to complete work. Must be able to properly communicate over the phone and in writing to upper management to include Subcontractors , Suppliers , Onsite Staff , Owners , PM’s , Superintendents , and Corporate Safety Director.
Qualifications- OSHA
30 (or be able to complete within 1 month of hiring) - Knowledge in the following areas:
Confined Space , Fall Protection , Excavation , Scaffolding , and HEC - Computer skills in Microsoft Office and online databases
- Must pass government security clearance standards
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen test if hired
- Good driving record, valid license – insurable through the company
- Be able to stand for several hours at a time
- Not afraid of heights
- Be able to work both indoors and outdoors
- Can clearly communicate in person, written, and electronically
- Minimum 5 years of safety experience
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Willing to travel
- Understanding of RMS or experience working with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)
- USACE 40-hour course
- Various safety competent person certifications (Fall Protection , Excavation , etc.)
- Experience working on a construction site
