IES Residential is looking for a passionate and experienced Safety Coordinator to help lead and elevate our safety culture across operations in Texas and surrounding markets. What You’ll Do- Lead job site safety inspections and proactively identify risks
- Partner with leadership to build and reinforce a safety‑first mindset
- Deliver engaging safety trainings and lead impactful toolbox talks
- Investigate incidents and drive solutions that prevent future risks
- Support and participate in OSHA inspections with confidence
- Serve as the go‑to safety expert for both field teams and management
- Communicate safety policies clearly and effectively across all levels
- Monitor compliance with company safety standards, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices
- Assist with safety documentation, reporting, and corrective action follow‑up
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Years of Experience4-6
Specific Qualifications- 5+ years of safety experience (construction experience preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance
- OSHA 500 Certification (preferred)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to influence, lead, and collaborate across teams
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
- Residential or commercial construction industry experience
- First Aid/CPR Instructor certification
- Strong leadership presence and interpersonal skills
- Experience conducting safety training and incident investigations

San Antonio, TX - Regional Travel:
Travel throughout Texas and surrounding areas as needed - Travel Requirement:
Approximately 50-75%
- You’ll be in the field where it matters most—on active residential construction sites—working alongside crews, supervisors, and leadership. Expect a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment with regular travel throughout Texas and surrounding markets, as well as exposure to active construction environments and changing job site conditions.
- Walk and inspect job sites for extended periods
- Climb, bend, kneel, and navigate active construction environments
- Lift up to 25-50 lbs occasionally
- Wear required PPE at all times on job sites
- Maintain strong visual and hearing awareness for hazard recognition
