Senior Construction Representative
The Senior Construction Representative supports the DOD and reports to the Program Manager. This position is 100% on-site.
Street Legal Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Representative for our project in San Antonio, TX.
Provide direct support of the mechanical, fire protection and project engineers supporting all activities required.
Responsibilities- Perform inspection of work in place, review contractor submittals, provide opinions or recommendations regarding compliance with contract plans and specifications. Include findings in the Daily Report of surveillance activities in the USACE Resident Management System (RMS); submit reports via email to the project engineer daily.
- Inspect contractor’s on‑site plant (storage yards, temporary facilities), materials and equipment for compliance with contract plans, specifications, EM 385-1-1 and OSHA requirements. Include findings in RMS daily report.
- Observe performance of construction contractor’s and subcontractor’s work, provide opinions or recommendations regarding compliance with contract plans, specifications, EM 385-1-1 and OSHA requirements. Include findings in RMS daily report.
- Analyze schedule: use Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 to determine the impact of out‑of‑sequence work, evaluate reasons so as not to affect the critical path, and review schedules for conformance with sound construction methodology, sequencing and contract compliance.
- BS Degree in a related field and at least 7 years of experience or HS diploma and more than 10 years of experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Quality Control and familiarity with RMS.
- Past experience with USACE or Air Force Military Construction (MILCON) projects is preferred.
- US citizenship required.
