Waterproofing Project Estimator

Responsibilities

• The PE-I will be engaged in the entire estimating process with the responsibility of learning each step of the Chamberlin process.
• Responsibilities include but are not limited to: field observations and inspections, onscreen estimating, proposal writing, detail review, client interactions and association involvement.
• As the PE-I develops a base knowledge, they will be responsible for contract scope verification, client relationship, and overall project engagement from start to finish.
• PE-I is the entry-level estimator role.

If applicant does not have a four-year degree, they must have a minimum of 2 years of college and 2 years of Chamberlin experience or five years of construction experience and/or professional sales and customer relations experience.

Microsoft Office, English speaking, bilingual preferred.

• Ability to read and understand construction documents
• Familiarity with general construction items
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Problem solving and dispute resolution skills
• Strong work ethic and self-starting mindset
• Negotiation and relationship‑building skills (sales ability)
• Career ambition to move up within Chamberlin
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to climb scaffolding, stairs, and ladders (standing, stooping, bending, lifting, etc.)

Four-year college degree or 2 years of college and 2 years of Chamberlin experience or five years of construction experience and/or professional sales and customer relations experience.
