Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee on-site construction activities for large-scale industrial, energy, and infrastructure projects in Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing contractors, ensuring safety compliance, controlling schedules and budgets, and delivering high-quality construction outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily construction operations across assigned project sites
- Manage general contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to design specifications
- Enforce strict adherence to safety standards (OSHA compliance and site safety protocols)
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers to resolve design and execution issues
- Review construction schedules, progress reports, and resource allocation plans
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
- Manage procurement of materials and coordinate deliveries to site
- Identify and mitigate construction risks and delays
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting for stakeholders
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 7+ years of construction management experience (industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects preferred)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations
- Proven experience managing multiple subcontractors and large job sites
- OSHA 30 certification (or equivalent safety training)
- PMP or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) certification
- Experience in energy, manufacturing, or large-scale infrastructure projects in Texas
- Familiarity with Primavera, Procore, or similar construction management software
- Site supervision & leadership
- Scheduling & project coordination
- Cost control & budgeting
- Contract administration
- Safety & compliance management
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
On-site presence required across Texas project locations
May require travel between multiple active construction sites
