Civil Helper

The Civil Helper assists skilled tradespeople and construction crews with various tasks on Primoris Energy Services projects, ensuring efficient and safe operations.

Assist with the excavation and back filling of trenches, foundations, and other earthwork.

Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and other vehicles.

Prepare and clean work sites, including removing debris and setting up safety barriers.

Operate hand and power tools under supervision, such as shovels, rakes, jackhammers, and compactors.

Mix and pour concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.

Spot heavy equipment and guide operators on job sites.

Perform general labor tasks as directed by supervisors or skilled tradespeople.

Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Prior experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required.

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform strenuous physical labor in various weather conditions.

Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.

Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Willingness to learn and operate various tools and equipment.

Valid driver's license preferred.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
