Jasmine Engineering is a Project Management and Commissioning Firm. The firm specializes in Project Management and has an immediate opening for a Project Manager position. Jasmine Engineering does not design or construct buildings.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Oversight:
Manage all aspects of construction projects from pre-construction through project close-out, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. - Client Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. - Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC):
Monitor and enforce quality standards on-site to ensure all work complies with project specifications, building codes, and safety standards. - Contract Administration:
Assist in administering contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and reviewing requests for information (RFIs) and change orders. - Construction Scheduling & Budgeting:
Develop, manage, and update project schedules using scheduling software to ensure projects stay within budget parameters. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in using construction management software, such as Microsoft Project. - Proven Project Leadership:
Ability to lead and manage contractors. - Strong Communication
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, design teams, and contractors. - Site Observations & Progress Meetings:
Conduct regular site observations to track project progress and ensure all milestones are met. Lead or attend regular progress meetings with clients, design teams, and contractors. - Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution:
Identify potential issues or delays and develop solutions to keep the project on track. Address problems related to schedule, cost, or quality in a timely manner. - Document Management:
Review and approve project documentation, including shop drawings, submittals, change orders, and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals. - Project Closeout:
Oversee project closeout activities, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met, and all project documentation is properly completed and handed over.
- Bachelor’s degree in:
Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is required. - 5+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on overseeing construction projects and managing on-site activities.
- LEED Accreditation is preferred.
- Architectural or Engineering Licensing is preferred.
- Limited travel is required.
- Must be able to conduct site inspections, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Position includes office-based work and time on active construction sites.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Full-Time. Salary:
