Your New Role

Location:

San Antonio, TX 78201

  • Evaluate project plans, specifications, and construction documents to define project scope

  • Complete quantity takeoffs for commercial HVAC and plumbing systems

  • Develop detailed cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services

  • Request and review supplier and subcontractor pricing

  • Prepare RFIs and evaluate potential cost and scheduling impacts

  • Update estimates to reflect project addendums and revisions

  • Review construction schedules and identify equipment lead time considerations

  • Recognize project risks while identifying opportunities for cost efficiency

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, suppliers, and design teams throughout the estimating process

  • Maintain current estimating databases and pricing information

  • Participate in pre bid meetings and site visits as needed

  • Help ensure estimates align with applicable codes, regulations, and construction standards

  • Manage multiple commercial estimating opportunities while meeting established deadlines

  • At least 5 years of commercial HVAC and plumbing estimating experience

  • Strong understanding of commercial HVAC and plumbing construction methods, materials, and building codes

  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings

  • Experience using estimating software such as Trimble, Procore, Plan Swift, Bluebeam, or similar platforms

  • Proficiency with Building Connected, Procore, and Microsoft Office

  • Knowledge of construction scheduling and project management practices

  • Strong communication skills when working with suppliers, owners, and design teams

  • Excellent mathematical, analytical, organizational, and problem solving abilities

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple bids in a deadline driven environment

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

  • Ability to complete pre employment screening requirements

  • Ability to verify U.S. employment eligibility
