Construction Superintendent
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with a strong electrical background to oversee on-site operations for a military-based construction project. This individual will lead a team of 5+ electricians while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and OSHA standards. This position is based in Georgia and will require travel.
This is a contract position with the potential for contract-to-hire based on performance and project needs.
Responsibilities- Lead, supervise, and coordinate a crew of 5+ electricians
- Manage daily field operations to ensure project milestones are met
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and construction drawings
- Coordinate with Project Managers, General Contractors, and Inspectors
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety standards and site-specific protocols
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators and sky trak (telehandler)
- Maintain daily reports, job logs, and crew timekeeping
- Enforce quality control standards and ensure work meets NEC and project requirements
- Previous experience as a Superintendent or Foreman
- Strong commercial or industrial electrical background
- Proven ability to manage and lead field crews
- OSHA 30 Certification (Required)
- Excavator and/or Sky Trak certification (Required)
- Experience operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to pass a background check for military base access
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Experience on federal or military construction projects
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
